Howdy Doody Lunchbox from 1954. Made by the Adco Liberty Mfg. Corp.

The colors on the lunchbox are still nice and bright, and the graphics are in good shape.

The worst damage is the rust on the handle, clasp, & emblem on the top of the box. The box does open and close, although it does stick a little. The knob that would hold the clasp closed is missing, but the box still stays shut without it.

There are scratches on the top of the lunchbox, and light ones on the front and back. There is rust around the edges, the worst being on the bottom. There are a few marks on the front, and I can’t tell if it is rust or paint.

Overall the lunchbox looks good for its age, shows well, and would add nicely to a collection. It is not perfect, but it is still fun. Please ask if any other pictures or information is needed.
